I was going to rate the book 4 stars but, as I began to think about the storyline,I felt it deserved 5 stars. This is a good book, Carolina's faith in the midst of both her Dad and husband. (Well, she is a better woman than I. Although, I am still a work in progress). Thomas quest for revenge consumed him so much that he could not see anything except to get vengeance. His treatment of Caroline was sad especially since her father treated her the same way. The story shows what happens when a human tries to do vengeance against another. It is so much better for all, when we live tge life of believing that Vengeance is GOD's, not mankind. But, in the end...after finding out the entire truth and talking, the storyline turns into an HEA ending to a wonderful story. But how Thomas change is interesting and worth reading the book. Good read forgiveness is needed in this world and this story explains how important it is to forgive and go on
Good, but too short to really develop a story.
simple sweet short story
This is a great book sad and happy
An inspirational and most enjoyable short story. Just the right length to close your eyes to at bedtime. Sweet dreams.
It is amazing that God will bring forgiveness and love when it is least expected. Hatred and greed do not belong in God's world.
"The Vengeful Groom" is a picture of how our Heavenly Father accepts us when we have put our trust in His Son, Jesus as our Savior, who died in our place and who, when we ask in faith, forgives us our sins and saves us from the wrath we deserve. God the Father, makes us new creatures who can approach Him and who gives us eternal life with Him. Beautiful story of our Greatest Hope.
