I'm not even going to try share my feelings around what Molly goes through before successfully opening a portal and returning home. I was horror-struck at the suffering Molly experienced at the hands of those wishing to control the Nether. But Molly is nothing but a survivor, using every means possible to ensure she gets her vengeance even if it means losing a part of herself in the process. It almost feels as if she's losing her humanity, one tiny step at a time. Who knows where this will take her, and who'll she'll destroy in the process.

Her second heart-breaking betrayal was waiting for her when she returned home. How will Molly deal with it and still maintain her humanity? Her city is a mess, her heart is broken, evil spirits have been locked on Earth causing strife and mayhem while she was in the Nether and the supernatural community has taken advantage of her absence - chaos reigns. It has to stop, but there is a darker side to her that wants it all to continue. Can Molly learn to control her power, the dark side of her that revels in pain and suffering?

Again, well done to Ms Vanderlinden. She continues to fill my world with action, adventure, romance, fantasy, excitement and yes, horror! I'm so wrapped up in Molly's escapades I can't wait to grab the next book and lose myself in it for a day. Bring on Book 4 - Strife!

Just read this book last night. I could not put it down. Not disappointed with the storyline with its twists and turns. I could feel the betrayal Molly felt towards Brennan. I could also understand his actions to some extent. I still think Molly can do better in her love life. So far all the men in her life have not been really trustworthy, this includes her father. Brennan is a good choice, but he lacks the aggressiveness to curb Molly from herself. She needs to find someone who will keep her in line and on her toes. There has got to be someone else out there for her. Again, I cried through some parts of this book. I think I'll go through withdrawal waiting until next book out in June. I have recommended this series to several family and friends. Keep up the good work.

I read the trilogy in a couple days to my sleep-deprivation. Wow, just wow! New author? Impossible! Cannot wait to see what Colleen will accomplish into her 20th novel. I have only one grudge... now I have to WAIT agonizing months for each new books, which I look forward to because, then there will be more of them.lol.
I agree with the other reviewers so I'm not going into details other than I hope Brennan will have a chance of his own to go into similar transformation like Molly had; and that will make him a worthy enough mate for her. (Titans maybe?) He should be
"the one" for her because, beside the passion there is the tender side of love that is apparent too... which Molly needs badly.
Finally, a big congratulations to Collen! Keep them coming, I'll keep them buying!
This was a very tough read. I. Didn't think Molly's life could get much worse, but boy was I wrong. The majority of gods, if that is what you want to believe they are, we're so wrapped up in their own ego's, hatred, lies, deception and cruelty one would wonder how in the world any human would ever think of praying to them!! Molly continues to change as events trap her into living in the Nether for more time then she could imagine. When she gets free home has changed and evil lies within. I say again that this was a tough an intense read. Ms Vanderlinden is one amazing writer.
I enjoyed every grisly, bloody, humerous. "hell yes" moment of Home. I do suggest that to get maximum enjoyment you read the first two installments before starting this one. I appreciate how Colleen doesn't rehash everything that happened in the previous books. Now and then she gives you a little reminder when it is appropriate and important to the story.
The end of book two left me feeling like I was about to take a step but a big crevase opened up and I couldn't put my foot down anywhere. In other words, I was marking off the hours until book three was released. Yeah, it was that bad/good.
This book left me in a more comfortable place but having absolutely no clue as to what is going to happen to Molly next. Will she solve her power problems? What's with Heph? Brennan, you dog.
Final comments Anyone know a spell that will cause Colleen to write faster? And I really want one of the big black cats.
Exciting series, read all three books in 1-2 days, chores be dammed! Strong characters, interesting plot line, romance, angst, lots of chemistry.
Why not 5 stars? I rated books 1&2 5 stars, with book 3, I really didn't care for the way the story line went with Brennan during Molly's absence. Here she is coming from such awful experiences to find THAT waiting for her...really? You can't redeem Brennan from that easily. Yes, I understand weakness, but considering what Molly was going trough at the time, it just becomes unforgivable. As far as Nain, it was clear he was no angel either during her absence, I think Molly needs choice #3, if the slates were evened up, maybe I can go back to considering Brennan or Nain and Molly, for now, let's bring on bachelor #3. She deserves somebody as strong as her.
